Production powerhouse Petah Sunday of the incredible Ital Soup label will join Vixen Sound in a conversational exploration of his musical craft, sharing knowledge and understanding of how anyone can dedicate themselves to their sound. Exploring his time in the studio; his commitment to musical practise across a multitude of instruments; and his motivations and inspirations, HIM Dub is proud to present this lecture with Petah, one of the most steadfast producers of our time.

An Dannsa Dub have been taking both the soundsystem world, and the realms of traditional folk music, by storm. The brainchild of dub producer Tom Spirals and Scottish Traditional musician Euan McLaughlin; An Dannsa Dub combine elements of the most revered Scottish cultural sounds with heavy, Jamaican-inspired basslines.
In this lecture, An Dannsa Dub will explore how they have taken very different musical styles, and brought them together to weave a rich tapestry of sound. You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of how dub can serve as a platform to uplift other genres, and practical tips for exploring how you can fuse your own cultural heritage music, with dub.
