Sista Joy, one of the young veterans selectress of the peninsula. It is characterized by having a large boxset loaded with big tunes from the different stages of Jamaican musical culture, playing them with mastery and exclusively on 7”, 10” and 12” vinyl format. 
Of Portuguese origin, in 2005, she appeared on the scene DJing at the age of 14 and with a career of 19 years mainly solo, she has actively contributed to the reggae culture of the peninsula since its beginnings, being a producer and promoter of her own parties for a long time in Guadalajara and Madrid with the renowned Dub Club Guadalajara and Sound System Sessions, also being in charge of bringing artists: Selectors, DJs, singers, reggae bands, Sound Systems... 

Collaboratively, she has participated in the Kingston Sounds Reggae Radio Show and also played that role on Rototom Sunsplash radio and on the Boss Sounds website. She has been part of Rootikaly Movement Sound System and the Roots In Madrid crew. Without forgetting her recent participation as official presenter of the Lion Stage of Rototom Sunsplash 2024.
