Mindel Reggae Family Soundsystem was founded in 2011 as a project to promote and disseminate Reggae music on the Lisbon circuit playing Strictly Vinyls & Strictly Roots. 

Mindel Reggae Family has been performing for over 10 years in bars, clubs, radio stations and festivals throughout Lisbon, Portugal, Spain, Luxembourg, Holland, France, Guinea Bissau and Cape Verde. Currently Mindel Reggae Family is Reggaeestablished as one of the main Roots Soundsystem in the Lisbon/Portugal circuit, playing regularly in several bars in the capital and also having actively participated in the organization of festivals and events such as Raiz i kultura, Rub a Dub Club , Rototom Lunch Party.

They are with no doubts the Portuguese Roots defenders, their sessions are powerful, following a rootikal line and protecting the sound system culture along the years.
